Happy Birthday Beki!!!

So, as promised, I am now going to tell you how my weekend was because of the special plans we made for Beki who just turned 20!!! First, my roommates and I had a sleepover at Megan's home in Rigby, Idaho. Her family was very nice, feeding us dinner, letting us help with some quilt-tying, playing Guitar Hero, letting us sleep in their beds, and feeding is a wonderful breakfast of french toast and eggs the next morning before we left! Needless to say, it was a lot of fun! We joked and laughed and were way louder than we should have been as quests.

With that great start to the birthday festivities, we returned home where Beki found that a friend of hers had decorated her half of the room with a "Happy Birthday" banner and balloons all over her bed while we were away that night. She was so surprised! Then, later, Nicole and Lyndsey took Beki around Rexburg to have some fun before Nicole returned home early and she (with some help from me, Tanya, and Brianna - neighbors) began to prepare the food for dinner that night.

Shortly after Beki and Lyndsey got back, most of our friends were sneakily leaving to set up for Beki's surprise party. Megan, Beki, Alyssa and me were all hanging out at my apartment giving them time to have dinner and decorations ready before we arrived. I think Beki guessed that something was going on at that point, but we surprised her by 'kidnapping' her! We put a blindfold over her eyes so she couldn't see where we were headed then drove to random spots and made her get out and take pictures as our hostage to disorient her.

Finally we arrived out at Beaverdick park where a large group of friends were waiting for us. We kept the blindfold on Beki and lead her over to the group who started lightly pushing her around between them before we took the blindfold off and said, "surprise!" Beki was freaking out a little and a lot of people gave her hugs to calm her down and welcome her. After that we had dinner, dessert, presents, and a whole lot of fun! Beki even told us that it was her best birthday ever!!! Score!!! :D
